Who we are
Bushcraft Software LLC ("Bushcraft", "we") is a Colorado company that makes apps for the Atlassian Marketplace. This policy covers this website and our apps: Pathfinder for Jira and Firebreak for Jira.
Our apps
Our apps run on Atlassian Forge, on Atlassian's infrastructure. They read the Jira data they need to do their job, such as projects, permissions, groups, user account IDs and display names, email addresses where an app needs them and your administrator allows it, and custom field configuration. Each app's trust page lists exactly what it reads, changes and stores.
- Your data stays in Atlassian. Our apps don't send Jira data to servers we or anyone else run outside Atlassian.
- We can't see it. No one at Bushcraft has access to the data in your Atlassian site.
- What the apps store (settings and history, Pathfinder's permission snapshots, and Firebreak's scan results) is kept in Atlassian Forge storage, in your Atlassian environment, and is deleted under Atlassian's Forge retention rules when you uninstall.
- Who is responsible. Your organisation controls the data in its Atlassian site. Atlassian hosts and processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Where our apps process personal data on your behalf, we do so only to provide the app.
Atlassian collects information when you install an app or buy through the Marketplace, such as your organisation name, contact details and licence details. Atlassian shares licence and contact information with us so we can provide support and manage licences. That information is covered by Atlassian's privacy policy and by this policy once we receive it.
Support requests
When you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems, and we keep it only as long as we need it for that. Please don't send exports of your data or credentials.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads no third-party fonts or trackers. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
Sharing
We don't sell personal data and don't share it for advertising. We share it only with providers we use to run the business (our email provider and Cloudflare), with Atlassian as part of the Marketplace, or when the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to how we use it. Email support@bushcraftsoftware.com with "Privacy request" in the subject and we'll respond within 30 days. Requests about data inside your Atlassian site may need to go to your organisation's Atlassian administrator or to Atlassian.
Security
We follow Atlassian's security requirements for Marketplace apps, limit our apps to the permissions they need, and keep access to our own systems to the people who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date below. For significant changes we'll also tell customers through the Marketplace contact on file.
